More interesting is when the strange car is available nationwide as a regular production option. Suppose I told you about a 396 engine available for only one It's my bet that most of the cars were sedans and four door hardtops with the odd coupe and ragtop thrown in. Finding these will be easier in the United States than Canada

The cars seen in movies and TV shows were the typical, and almost-mythical, big police cruisers and smaller, but still big by Fiat 126p standards, sports cars. It was a lot more than a car however; it was the idea of choice, it was TV Land becoming reality, it meant, in some far-reaching but realistic way, freedom.
