Other than not winning the World Driving Championship, what more does this guy have to demonstrate or to do with cars? If you ask him (or me for that matter) the answer is 'absolutely nothing'. down was the last one that turned him from a hip young racing driver in the early sixties into some strange British doppelganger of Jan Berry; Cheekbone crushed, one eye gone all wonky and just enough brain damage to give him an odd, slurred speech impediment.

MArooned: Where Are The Small Cars?

It got me to thinking (always a scary proposition) about the state – both current and historic – of American small cars. Not small cars wearing American badges – I'd be forced to recount the horror of the 1980s Pontiac LeMans …. The lack of Big Three compact cars probably also has something to do with the fact that for the last twenty-odd years, the Big Three focused on bigger cars (and trucks) because the Japanese companies weren't making anything like

That's just weird. 5. The Incredibles. …but not as weird as the awful ending where it's apparently A-OKAY for the kid compete in races as long as he holds back and doesn't come in FIRST. Cars. I didn't really expect to like Cars, but I have to admit: I liked Cars. No two ways about it. However, there's no denying that the world is really, really bizarre and not necessarily in a GOOD way; also, the character designs are, let's face it, kind of creepy.

I enjoy GTR2 and GT Legends, the latter maybe giving a more realistic feel it seems, as the cars seem more “connected” with the track than with GTR2, but I don't race historic cars so the cars are not really that relevant, although I'm sure the …. Ah that's very interesting, thanks for sharing! I'm glad its not just me that thinks rFactor's handling at times is a bit weird (I never knew as I've never raced real-life before so thanks for making me feel better! )
